General enquiries
As the Centre for Transport & Society continues to develop we are keen to identify additional capable and enthusiastic individuals to join us. When specific opportunities for academic, research or research student posts arise they will be highlighted on this web page and publicised more widely. However, if you are keen to join us and feel you have the right qualities then you are encouraged to contact us at any time. When appropriate we can then explore opportunities or draw your attention to openings as they arise.

In the first instance please send an email to Professor Glenn Lyons accompanied by your CV. It will be helpful if the email can include the following information:

  • why you wish to join CTS and in what capacity
  • a summary of your background, experience, interests and ambitions
  • what you feel you could contribute to the current and future development of CTS
  • when you would wish to join CTS and whether you are aware of any funding sources that could support your appointment
